Huh?[edit]

"Player Crossing Rule: It is necessary for one of both players to secure one end of the wicket by securing the crease of the one end." What does this even mean? 117.192.189.120 (talk) 09:33, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well spotted. It was a piece of rubbish, probably vandalism, dating back to 2010 that somehow evaded detection till now. I've undone the change so it's no longer there. Would you be nterested in joining WP:CRIC? All the best. Jack | talk page 15:42, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think the page Scoring runs in cricket should be merged into this page, as the Scoring runs in cricket page: has virtually the same information as this page; has very few links into it; and the title of the page isn't a noun. Mmitchell10 (talk) 19:00, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Merge duplication of content. Spike 'em (talk) 19:35, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Merge With the added caveat that Scoring runs in cricket currently has 0 sources. Rockphed (talk) 11:50, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Room for interpretation on deliberate or unintentional short runs[edit]

Can this edit (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Run_(cricket)&oldid=prev&diff=977961494&diffmode=source) be used as a way to explain how the room for interpretation left to the umpires can play a part of the game? GreekApple123 (talk) 01:32, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
