Needed Citations[edit]

Hi Wikipedians,

A bit ago, someone added citation needed to almost every fact on my page. I'd leave it to you to determine what facts require citations, but to help get this past stub-class and back to readable, I thought I would offer some citations from credible sources:

http://www.businessweek.com/technology/content/oct2004/tc20041019_0375_tc182.htm http://online.wsj.com/article/SB109105974578777189.html http://www.nytimes.com/2003/05/19/technology/19NECO.html http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/17/technology/17wiki.html

One thing I am incredibly proud of is contributing a keynote to the first Wikimania conference http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimania_2005:Programme

One important transition at Socialtext is how I hired a CEO http://blogs.zdnet.com/BTL/?p=6806

These citations can help resolve my role at RateXchange, and please note, the Edgar filing citation in the article today doesn't work http://www.phoneplusmag.com/articles/0b1tradesk6.html http://www.forbes.com/forbes/2000/0703/6601070a.html http://www.phoneplusmag.com/articles/011bnew14.html

I could be mentioned as having hosted the first Barcamp http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barcamp http://www.wired.com/techbiz/media/news/2005/08/68610

I'm an advisor to a number of startups, as you can see from my LinkedIn profile, and here is an example http://www.redherring.com/Home/pages/print/posts/?bid=f24e10f3-dbae-436b-b6b4-93fbb30b3d8b&mode=Full

Some creative commons licensed content that might be of interest. Joi Ito of creative commons is on the Socialtext board of directors. Jimmy Wales was until recently. http://blip.tv/file/796512/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/ross/

I'll check back here in case people would like to discuss. Trying to do the right thing and be helpful here. --Rossmay (talk) 06:07, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jacoplane, thank you for making it readable and applying the citations needed banner.

In case others want to do edits, UCLA Anderson School of Management is the proper wikilink, and the U.S.-Baltic Foundation could be a citation instead of a wikilink http://www.usbaltic.org/ --71.132.210.3 (talk) 15:20, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ross, thanks for the references. I've added them to the article but not inline with the text. I'm sure the rest of the article will be cleaned up shortly. ~ PaulT+/C 16:47, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
