Change (Apple) to (business) or (retail) or what? Flatterworld (talk) 00:49, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Apple today operates over 300 stores, including outlets in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Japan" Most people would probably forgive mentioning Hong Kong separately but Shanghai is only ever a part of China and not another country. Admittedly I did use Google Maps to check this, I might have reached a different conclusion if I had used Apple Maps :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anjum (talkcontribs) 15:54, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed link.[edit]

I removed the link to the Apple retail store. I dont think articles are supposed to have retail links.--BeckiGreen (talk) 04:37, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Stock nosedived"[edit]

"He was fired in 2013 after his makeover of J. C. Penney stores failed and the stock nosedived"

Above quote is in bio. Doesn't really strike me as a neutral tone. Would be interested to hear others' opinions.

  • I see what you mean, although some publications used the word nosedive and it's probably not an unfair characterization. I've rewrote it to be more fact-based: "He was responsible for a major rebrand of J. C. Penney, which later led to company shares declining 51% and his firing in 2013." Which birthdate is correct?[edit]

Infobox says, "Born September 25, 1958". Main article says, "(born October 15, 1959)". Anyone know which date is correct? --Sgtgalvin (talk) 00:52, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
