Scythian, the quality of the sources here vary wildly. The first one is fine; Robert was a real Templar, that's okay. The others are not good. (Almost anything written about the Templars is junk...) I doubt he really married a relative of Saladin, but since that is mentioned by a medieval source, and it is in The Experience of Crusading, I guess it is okay. I'm not sure we really need an article about him at all though, since there isn't anything else that can be said. Adam Bishop (talk) 16:36, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adam, I am extremely puzzled by your comments. You first deny the incident with "I think not." Then despite that this is mentioned in five non-Muslim sources, you question the "quality" of the sources.
