Birthday???[edit]

has anybody some information about Riki Lindhome's age or birthday? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.3.113.165 (talk) 22:43, 25 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Yes, you can find it in her Wikipedia article. :?) – AndyFielding (talk) 10:53, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Does Anyone know how to get a hold of Riki[edit]

I went to High School with Riki and would love to tell her HEY and I am so glad she is doing well. 139.78.156.248 14:29, 8 August 2007 (UTC) Samantha[reply]

Why is this person on Wikipedia?[edit]

She is hardly worthy of her own page. Take her off. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clifbar123 (talkcontribs) 23:20, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What an odd thing to say. Do you know anything about her? Have you read the article? – AndyFielding (talk) 10:54, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated Deletion Proposals[edit]

Clifbar123 has proposed that this article be deleted on November 6, 2007, approximately two weeks after the previous discussion about his or her proposed deletion on October 22, 2007, came to no consensus. Looking at this user's contribs page, it appears all he or she does is remove content related to this actress and propose her article for deletion. As I'd mentioned in a previous deletion discussion for her page, I found this article after seeing her in a recent episode of Pushing Daisies. I found the article to be useful and figure that other people might as well. If someone besides Clifbar123 -- which is to say, someone who hadn't previously gone back and removed content from the article -- were to propose this deletion I would probably lend the proposal greater credibility. As it is, however, I'm of the opinion the article should stay. fdiv_bug 17:39, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've just come to the article after wondering who the girl in the video for Nickelback's Rockstar was. The article needs improvement, but does not require deletion, especially where there is only one user who is hell bent on removing it. Thedarxide 20:32, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No I think she should go too[edit]

Come off it who cares that this girl won some essay prize at high school. That does not make her note worthy, nor do her minor appearances in tv shows and movies. She is an extra. That is all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Anotheruserhere (talkcontribs) 18:56, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, she's not an "extra". Extras don't have lines. She plays actual characters and has dialogue. – AndyFielding (talk) 02:22, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously[edit]

She claims to have been in Pulse. Whilst this is true, she was on screen for approximatley 45 seconds and said 5 words if I am not mistaken. Please leave this irrelevant nobody on IMDB with all the other Extras. She hardly deserves a wikipedia page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clifbar123 (talkcontribs) 21:40, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gosh, why all the animosity here? You'd almost think that someone who didn't like her and had too much spare time was creating multiple WP accounts just to badmouth her. – AndyFielding (talk) 10:57, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Take her off[edit]

Please read the guidelines on notable people at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:BIO

In particular please note:

"Database sources such as Notable Names Database, Internet Movie Database and Internet Adult Film Database are not considered credible since they are, like wikis, mass-edited with little oversight. Additionally, these databases have low, wide-sweeping generic standards of inclusion."

This bio is almost word for word copied from IMDB and is thus not credible. Furthermore as I pointed out before she is an extra and I fail to see how extras are notable people. Remove this page! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clifbar123 (talkcontribs) 22:29, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

🙄 – AndyFielding (talk) 10:57, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nickelback[edit]

Okay so she was an extra again. So what. Why do none of the other people in the play Embedded have their own page except for Tim Robbins? Answer because they all just work as extras too.

Please note the text in the prod box: "If this template is removed, it should not be replaced." Several users have removed this now, your repeated attempts to interfere with this article are tantamount to vandalism. Thedarxide 08:21, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not vandalism - I am following Wikipedia policy Clifbar123 —Preceding comment was added at 18:55, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It appears she was not in the video after all. Check out the latest version of Rockstar. Thus that section can be deleted. Clifbar123 (talk) 00:40, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is still here?[edit]

I am totally with Clifbar123. Can't believe anybody thinks this woman is sufficiently note worthy to merit a wikipedia page! What next - pages for every waitress / actress wanna be in LA?!?! Anotheruserhere 19:18, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay assuming she stays - can we at least remove some of the irrelevant nonsense about winning a prize at high school etc.? Anotheruserhere 20:56, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

if it's just cruft, sure Thedarxide 21:01, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Appearance in commercials[edit]

I disagree that this should be added to Wikipedia Anotheruserhere (talk) 19:10, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

as can be seen from above, you seem to disagree with any mention of her. the info establishes further evidence of notability, people will want to now who she is and what she's done Thedarxide (talk) 20:17, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You are right. I don't think she really merits a wikipedia page. But I agreed that a revised version would be acceptable. Adding information on her appearance in commercials does not make her notable. Anotheruserhere (talk) 23:01, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think we know my opinion on this one. Ridiculous that she has a page. Even more absurd that people are adding information about a pizza commercial. "People will want to KNOW who she is and what she's done" - Doesn't meet the guidelines for Notability as I have stated before Clifbar123 (talk) 00:27, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We do know your opinion. The only edits your account has ever made have been to remove information about this person. You've even removed information from other articles in order to claim non-notability, which is quite frankly vandalism in my eyes. Thedarxide (talk) 09:35, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Who made you judge, jury and executioner? She is not "known for saying 'what are we going to do with the other 28 minutes?'" That is absurd. Qualification for notability based on an appearance in a commercial is at best a stretch. For example would you see an entry on Kevin Spacey that he provides the voice over for the Honda commercials? I think not. Leave this off her page. Anotheruserhere (talk) 18:35, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't qualify her for notability, she's done enough other things to do that, it reinforces it. Trim the material, don't delete it outright Thedarxide (talk) 19:36, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

LET HER BE[edit]

I believe that she is very talented and gifted and what gives anybody the right to ask for a deletion of this page? I understand this is a user written Encyclopedia and in that token what if she wanted to be looked up..then what? Is she taking space on your precious server.... let her be and no need to bash. Some people seem to have a lot of time on their hands. I personnaly don't care about moviestars and thier lives and the fact that she is not completely mainstream makes her a breath of fresh air. She has been around for 8+ years and has acted, written, produced and directed. What have you done "Clifbar123" besides edited b.s. and bashed people? KEEP RIKI ALIVE !!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Toetag420 (talkcontribs) 09:14, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No one is trying to delete the page? Thedarxide (talk) 11:25, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I totally agree—she's had real parts in many shows now. When she guested on The Big Bang Theory (currently the #1 TV comedy, ding ding ding), her character provided the premise for the whole episode. Someone in this stage of an acting career needs all the help and exposure she can get, so it seems petty and shortsighted to suggest denying her a WP page. I'm sure many people who see her work would like to know more about her (I did), and that's what WP's all about, isn't it? Finally, IMHO, she's as close to Undeniable Babehood as anyone could possibly get—er, that is, in addition to her many other talents, aptitudes, qualities as a human being regardless of gender, and so on... Ahem, right then. – AndyFielding (talk) 02:28, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Brian L Raney (talk) 03:13, 9 March 2022 (UTC)== Stop Vandalizing This Wikipedia Entry! ==[reply]

Some editors seemed to have made it their mission to remove any interesting entries about Riki regardless of source or notoriety without just cause. And it's becoming a death of a thousand cuts. Receiving an award from three members of the Kennedy Family (Caroline Kennedy, John F. Kennedy Jr. and Ted Kennedy) at John F. Kennedy Library in Boston is an undoubtedly notable event. Previous winners of the JFK Profiles in Courage Essay Contest have included Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. There is no good reason to keep deleting this entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brian L Raney (talkcontribs) 03:07, 9 March 2022 (UTC) Brian L Raney (talk) 03:13, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes—bizarre, isn't it? It's as though someone had a vendetta against her. Maybe they don't understand her comedy… It seems like someone with no sense of humor and not enough hobbies would do. — AndyFielding (talk) 11:01, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Occyte cryopreservation[edit]

Is this really something noteable about her work? Unless is severely influences her whether or not she froze her eggs, I don't see this belonging in a biographic article. --Ulkomaalainen (talk) 04:54, 26 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I fail to see why personal biographical information should not belong in a biographical article, particularly under its Personal section. It is without question that it influenced and inspired at least some her more recent and better known work. --pwnerast (talk) 05:38, 26 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ugh; you could go to the extreme with that, you know. This is included here because it was mentioned during some interviews regarding one of her programmes and its pertinence to an episode thereof. However, it has no context. I was just browsing, so I don't know why she was asked, why she would be considering it, nor why it is the only material described in that section — which makes it look terse, like a partial field report.
