Eyesight[edit]

I recall being read an excerpt at school from his autobiography where he recounted difficulties he had with his eyesight which led to his being prescribed spectacles before he would have turned blind. Some mention would be helpful, as the reader might be intrigued that he wrote a prize winning poem about WWI without apparently having served in it.Cloptonson (talk) 08:38, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
