German article[edit]

The German article for "Residence Card of a family member of a Union citizen" is de:Aufenthaltskarte, not de:European Economic Area Family Permit. The latter is the German article for European Economic Area Family Permit. Qwerta369 (talk) 10:09, 28 June 2011 (UTC).[reply]

German requirement[edit]

Germany requires to carry the wedding certificate when traveling together. Residence card alone is not sufficient. (Information from German Embassy in London)

Those are UK requirements after May took over the home office. At least gov.uk says so, even though that would be illegal as long as the UK is still in the EU. The Schengen area should be the same everywhere. There isn't much room for the German government to change the rules. --There-is-life-on-mars (talk) 18:39, 16 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The European Union has rules about Residence cards for people who have residence permits for various reasons, not only family member of a Union citizen. Does anyone know anything about them? There is a red link to an article Residence card (European Union).
