Renfrew Museum hoax[edit]

This article was the subject of a hoax by several users in May/June 2007 pretending to establish Nazi connections. The comments below were made by those involved. Rexparry sydney 03:57, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't erase the contents of this page as it recounts part of the history of Renfrew. Although it is not a pretty chapter, it is a part of history and deserves to be told. Unsigned comment by User:Renfrewash 17:09, 31 May 2007
I agree with the person above me^ The Nazism in Renfrew's past is, indeed, disturbing to many of us, but it is, nonetheless, a true part of our cultural background. Let's face it, without the Nazism that once reigned supreme in this small town, we wouldn't have places like Der Finniguast or Co-Co Jew's (Recently renamed Finnigan's and Co-Co Jerry's, respectively). I must also agree with the above individuals. Historic events cannot be censored like this. For if man does not learn from his mistakes, he is doomed to repeat them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.51.221.229 (talkcontribs)

Change to a disambiguation page[edit]

There are at least 3 Renfrew Museums mentioned in Wiki articles, and the original target is not formally named 'Renfrew Museum', hence the change of this page to a disambig page. Rexparry sydney 03:59, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
