Merge with Redbreast whiskey[edit]

Gilbeys[edit]

When I was young, Redbreast was with Gilbeys Gilbeys of Ireland. Gilbeys bought the raw spirit from Jamesons, Jameson Irish Whiskey, this was before the Irish Distillers merger. Gilbeys distilled it again, stored in in sherry casks, and aged it for 10 or 12 years. It was lovely. After the merger, Jameson ceased supplying, so some years later, it vanished. I assure you that the redbreast of today is not the same as the Redbreast sold by Gilbeys. This isn't ever OR, its memory, there must be references somewhere.
