  • Wow... That was a lot to go through... I've crossed out everything I consider unacceptable and the rest are kind of questionable in my opinion, but "may" be okay to use. This article also could use some tender loving care from the guild of copy editors to re-format it and make it easier to read. It needs some sectioning and some INLINE citations. You should also read up on our Conflict Of Interest page. I will tag the article and talk page for you. Good luck! Technical 13 (talk) 12:45, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    • I went ahead and did a major cleanup and copyedit, removing promotional copy and unreliable sources, i.e., inappropriate blogs and press releases. The comprehensive list of work that the subject has presented is great stuff to include on a corporate website, but not appropriate for an encyclopedia. Let me know if you have any questions. Best regards, Cindy(talk) 14:06, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much for your time, searching for appropriate citations now.Yvonne Coughlan (talk) 23:28, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is it appropriate to cite reviews from local and national newspapers without a direct web link to the article other than on RSVP website?

ie for The Haunted History Tour; Cork City Gaol.

"An impressive cast of young actors has been assembled[...] The haunted ambience of this drama-cum-tour is brought to vivid life by a script full of historical erudition and the creation of a howling, murderous and haunted atmosphere that attests to the human suffering these walls must surely have borne witness to. […] The script by Red Sandstone Varied Production’s Yvonne Coughlan was excellent and the acting was enjoyably credible. […] This is a memorable dramatic rendering of a vital part of Cork history and you must see it." Frank Hanover. Evening Echo. Feb. 2007.

for V-Day; The Vagina Monologues Cork/Kinsale 2009

"Nineteen volunteers, including a number of professional actresses, performed a series of monologues that combined to celebrate female sexuality as well as highlight female genital mutilation and rape. Produced by Kinsale-based Red Sandstone Varied Productions, this show was at times hugely humorous.[…] There was deathly silence in the Crane Lane Theatre as the audience learned that what is happening in the DRC is “femocide” – a war that is wreaking havoc on females. The clarion call to tackle this atrocity was the resounding message at the end of this heartfelt production." Colette Sheridan. Examiner. 1 May 2009.

for A Play for Gaza; Seven Jewish Children by Caryl Churchill.

“Kinsale residents witnessed a unique theatrical event last week when they were the first people outside the capital to see the acclaimed and controversial play Seven Jewish Children, by Caryl Churchill […] It was an outstanding production with the intensity of the acting and the enthusiasm of the participants warmly applauded by each audience. Noelle O’Regan, Cathie Clinton, Yvonne Coughlan, Richard Clare, and Arina Obuchova put everything into the play and Noelle was particularly impressive at each performance.” Dermot Ryan. Southern Star. 21 March, 2009.

The name of the company is registered as 'RSVP (Red Sandstone Varied Productions)' this is the intended name of the article. Is it appropriate to re-edit title, which has been changed to 'Red Sandstone Varied Productions'? Yvonne Coughlan (talk) 14:06, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have interspersed my opinions between the sources. In summary, you have a few passing mentions in reliable sources, mostly just trivial local news coverage that won't help establish notability, and lots of primary sources that cannot help establish notability at all. You can cite reviews from print sources, but you shouldn't quote them, at least not in that much detail. You can cite the newspapers themselves without any weblink but should provide enough details about the sources to allow our readers to look them up in a library.
Regarding the article name, some sources use "RSVP", some "Red Sandstone Varied Productions", yet others "Red Sandstone Varied Productions (RSVP)" - I don't think I saw a single source use "RSVP (Red Sandstone Varied Productions)" and thus don't think that would be an appropriate title for the article.
