FWIW[edit]

I saw demos & discussions of such things at IBM in the early 1990's when one IBM R&D group wanted to build a 3D interface for OS/2. I've got to believe that RealThings were the remnants of that project ... linas (talk) 02:47, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Interface Hall of Shame[edit]

The RealThings were also soundly mocked at the time. This article is incomplete without a note on how awful the slavishly skeuomorphic interface design actually turned out to be.
