First stage recovery[edit]

Hi there! I have questioned SpaceX if they were able to recover the first stage this time and they said "no". I have posted it on my SpaceX blog at http://spacexpla.net but cannot add it here since I'm the owner ;)
Here's the link to the blog-entry: Let’s celebrate a new era!
And here's the excerpt of the email I got from Diane Murphy after asking if they were able to recover the first stage (as posted on the blog too): "We were not able to recover the Flight 4 first stage but it is our intent to recover the first stage of all Falcon 1s and first and second stages of Falcon 9s"
So if someone thinks this information would be interesting to add, please do so ;) I think it would be of interest! ColdCase (talk) 16:12, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Auto updating the satellites orbital elements[edit]

I am in the initial stages of setting up this article to have its orbital elements automatically updated by User:AstRoBot, an approved bot for this purpose. The current orbital elements in the article have not been updated since shortly after the launch in 2008, and are thus extremely out of date. Other editors are welcome to observe the results of this impending change, and revert if they see any unusual behavior or incorrect info in the article as a result of these actions. Cheers.  Done, set up, and the initial bot run has occurred. With one manual cleanup step by the bot owner, it worked great. And he's modified the bot to automatically handle that issue on future articles. N2e (talk) 18:20, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
