So he has a famous son...[edit]

...but I believe being an Olympic gold medallist is notable in itself, so I've removed the wording in the introduction about Ran Laurie being the father of Hugh Laurie (it's still in the Personal Life section near the end). I appreciate that many people will come to this article via the Hugh Laurie Wikipedia article, but Ran Laurie's achievements are notable in themselves and should be left to stand by themselves.
