Subject of the song[edit]

"in 1965 Dylan himself told journalist Nora Ephron that "Queen Jane is a man"

Just to note that it is interesting to read the lyrics as if Dylan is singing to himself.Twistlethrop (talk) 06:57, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

He said that in the interview because likely he did not want to become a promoter for Mary Jane. The lyrics do make most sense in this direction. --Bernd.Brincken (talk) 16:20, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
