I have a drawing taken from a photograph during the construction of the 1877 extension, published in Architect and Building News, Jan. 13th, 1939, pp. 77-79. Both anonymous, but will not clear copyright until Jan. 2010. I also have a project from a A. H. Starkey, North London Polytechnic PAC.A5 1973, containing many photographs of the building, plus copies he made of the detailed floor plans drawn by E. R. Robson, but I have been unable to contact A. H. Starkey about using the drawings, and asking the sources of the photographs. EricHutton (talk) 08:08, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is an aerial photo of 55 Broadway that shows Queen Anne's Mansions in the background: http://www.charlesholden.com/html/charlesholden_gallery_pages/55Broadway_6.htm plawes 10/09/09 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.25.109.197 (talk) 12:14, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The lifts were rope lifts, without motors, but operated by pulling. You could see Windsor Castle from the top of the building. Seadowns (talk) 00:19, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
