Discrepancy[edit]

"By 1978 the 1st Battalion had arrived in Werl, Germany but moved to Canterbury (the Regiment's home base) in 1980." This appears to be inaccurate as they where in a barracks in Rainham in 1980[1] its possible of course they where in those barracks then moved to Canterbury but its definitely something that bares further research.

No reference to 6/7 Battalion (TA)??

Whilst The 1st Battalion Queen's Regiment was posted to Howe Barracks Canterbury in 1980, the married quarters were based in Rainham, Kent. http://www.1queens.co.uk/postings Benjamin W Gregory (talk) 02:33, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lineage[edit]

I've added the lineage box, but then had to leave part of it blank! I know th Queen's were preceded only by the Royal Scots, but I can't find a mention of who they were succeeded by. I think it was the King's Regiment, but I'm not going to add that without some verification.Yorkist (talk) 21:14, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've worked it out now, it is the King's. Yorkist (talk) 08:24, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, RS, Queen's, KORBR, RRF, then King's. 21:52, 22 June 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67th Tigers (talkcontribs)

The Caledonian[edit]

A small point perhaps but the link from the Regimental slow march 'The Caledonian' leads to a stub on a railway locomotiveof the same name. The disambiguation page for 'Caledonian' lists no article dealing with a military march or any tune of that name. JF42 (talk) 12:23, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Now delinked. Thanks. Dormskirk (talk) 23:19, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
