Scholarships[edit]

This article states that it's unusual for an American University to hand out scholarships...when in fact, Division III schools cant't give out scholarships (unless various sports play up, in which case they can). I'm going to modify this statement, as it's whole inaccurate.-Colslax (talk) 16:36, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Losing Streak[edit]

The movie tagline is a bit misleading, since the losing streak was specifically for *conference* games, and the team did win other games in the interim. For instance, they won against Whittier College in mid-February 1988. http://tech.caltech.edu/archive/scanned-archive/California%20Tech%207/1988_02_19_89_17.pdf I don't know if this exaggeration is worth mentioning.
