Policy compliance:

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - n
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: Yes
QPQ: None required.

Overall: @MarsandCadmium Nice work! There are few issues, please address them. The majority of the inline sources could not be checked[ as they are offline sources], and the only verifiable source does not support the article name; instead, as per the source, it should be "Qiang Tie" and not "Qiangtie." Secondly there are issues with the hook citation that is absent in the article. Kindly see WP:DYKCRIT. # Each fact in the hook must be supported in the article by at least one inline citation to a reliable source, appearing no later than the end of the sentence(s) offering that fact. Citations at the end of the paragraph are not sufficient. This rule applies even when a citation would not be required for the purposes of the article. • Completed. I also have a question; shortly before this submission, I also submitted the American concession of Tianjin for review, but it appears to have been lost in the DYK page. Is it possible that that also be reviewed as well? MarsandCadmium (talk) 16:15, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for your corrections; I recommend that you include more verifiable sources similar to [1]. Secondly, you can add more interesting hooks as well. Lastly, for your question regarding the American concession of Tianjin, it is checked, and as per page history, it has not been submitted yet, but the good thing is you still have time and can nominate it. Thanks RV (talk) 03:22, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ah! It is here. It needs some corrections. Please refer to the message on your talk page. I hope it is sorted. Thanks RV (talk) 05:03, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've added other hooks. This topic does seem to mostly exist in Chinese-language academia, I will say, but there is assuredly verification for them. I've also updated the American concession of Tianjin as well. Would you say this is good to go? (talk) 01:11, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • AGF. This comes complete with the original hook. RV (talk) 16:51, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
