No, of course not. This is the English Wikipedia, and not the German or Spanish one. I note that before today there were in the English Wikipedia 6 references to one Pyotr Leshchenko, only two to Pyotr Leschenko, and none to Petr Leschenko. The two "Pyotr Leschenko"s (there are a lot of Leshchenkos, and all of them have a link to Russia or the Soviet Union, and would normally be spelled Leshchenko - one more argument not to introduce German spelling in Pyotr's name) were in the articles on Roma music and on Alla Bayanova. The Leschenko spelling looks like a mutilated German spelling to me, because if it is Leshchenko in Englisch it would have to be Leschtschenko in German (which is my first lingo). I cannot work out for sure how the cyrillic character is pronounced, i.e. sh or shch. The Pyotr or Petr does not really matter because people adapt names when they change country and language. He moved into the Romanian speaking environment, so Pyotr gets changed. I have a Russian speaking friend in Britain who once collected a lot of Leshchenko material for a docu, but then that did not materialize and now it's sitting in the cupboard. He was born as an illegitimate child of the Russian Empire in Isayevo village of the Kherson Governorate (now part of Odessa Oblast, Ukraine) into a poor and illiterate Ukrainian peasant family.
