NP Pacific Division info should be clarified[edit]

RE: this phrase at the end of the second paragraph of the History section:

"Villard promised that the main line would not end at Tacoma, which it had reached in 1874."

1) According to pp. 43-44 of Armbruster's Orphan Road, the rails reached Tacoma on December 16, 1873, with regular operations starting January 5, 1874. Might want to clarify the 1874 date currently used in this article.

2) Should clarify that, although what reached Tacoma in December, 1873 was technically the main line, there was a 1500-mile gap so the NP was not running as a transcontinental operation, and wouldn't for 10 more years. This segment of the "main line" was disconnected, ran from Kalama to Tacoma, and was called the Pacific Division. Chapters 3-4 of Armbruster's book provide the necessary info.
