Levels and copyright[edit]

Suggest that this does not descend beyond two levels, which would be fair commentry. Rich Farmbrough 10:34, 12 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

wp self-references[edit]

This article shouldn't compare Propaedia topics with wikipedia topics. I'm not sure if I can correct this without knowing what britannica calls se topics:

The corresponding Wikipedia topics are:
#Matter and Energy
##Atoms, Nuclei, ......
etc.

I have a printed Propaedia from 1976, if you still want to know what it says. Or has the issue been corrected by now? Aurodea108 (talk) 03:45, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Classification System[edit]

It could be mentioned that the classification system used by Propaedia is nearly identical to JHSI - Joel's Hierarchical Classification System by Joel Jones, which was supposed to categorize Internet sites in its early time 1993f. --193.17.243.4 09:28, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling[edit]

According to Encyclopædia Britannica the encyclopædia uses British spelling. Why not follow it in this article? JIMp talk·cont 15:44, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
