Ticket information[edit]

After re-writing this page, the only part I have left intact is a reference to the ticket pricing and validity. I am unsure whether the prices are out-of-date or if the year-long validity period is true. I will try to check next time I visit but have left the information on the page in good faith pending confirmation. --SmartShark (talk) 01:27, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Age and founder[edit]

Reading up on Robert Ropner, I am a little confused about the year the hall was built and by whom. I don't believe it was actually built by Robert Ropner, though I believe he was later an owner. I also doubt that it was built in 1825 as that was the year the railway was built and we know that it went through the grounds of the hall, suggesting the latter existed already (although perhaps both were under construction simultaneously).

On my next visit to the hall I will check the literature and make changes as necessary. --SmartShark (talk) 16:59, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I recall reading somewhere that the hall was rebuilt at some point. I can't remember the details, and it may not be so.
