The French Republican calendar was actually in official use as the legal calendar of a country for more than a decade, whereas the Positivist calendar has never had any official status, as far as I'm aware... AnonMoos (talk) 02:30, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's in the article, but the high points are -- Advantage: Uniform months. Disadvantages: Can't divide the year into 4 quarters, religious believers would strongly object to tampering with the days of the week. AnonMoos (talk) 21:34, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
