I updated the history of Portland section to include the history of education in Portland. I began with the early district schools. I included the history and changes to the following schools: Portland High School, Portland Middle School, Brownstone Intermediate School, Gildersleeve School, Valley View School and Central School (current Town Hall).Teach kris (talk) 18:27, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Structural Improvements[edit]

The only advice I would offer is to maybe remove the last part of the introduction where you included the eight marinas and three golf courses and put them into the "notable locations." This would allow you to include links to any sites containing information about any of the courses or marinas and it keeps the intro concise and specifically about Portland's basic background and the key points of Portland that are going to be discussed.

The current golf courses and marinas do not seem to be overly emphasized in the rest of the article and could be expanded upon in a separate section. Overall, structure was well organized and content was all relevant.Atn1414 (talk) 18:11, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

· Take information about golf courses and marinas from intro and expand upon them in a separate section

· Keep intro broad background on topic
