Coordinates[edit]

Could anyone specify the coordinates of this dam? IWPCO provides coordinates 32°25' to 34°30' N 45°55' to 46°5' E which is too wide to find the exact location. UNFCCC report gives 38°17'50 to 38°18'05 N 58°55'50 to 58°58'00 E, which is even not in Iran. Beagel (talk) 18:57, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added the coordinates in the article. The dam is about 6.2 km east of Piran. There are pictures of the dam on Google Earth and you can see the construction. There is a 9km canal to transpower water to the penstock, so I assume the HPP is way downstream below the waterfall at Piran. I also think this is on the Rijab River as well.--NortyNort (Holla) 00:34, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
