Untitled[edit]

The claim that he didn't say this is nonsense. He was quoted in a major community newspaper. Additionally, Baruch Lanner was under his supervision for decades, not years, and reports of abuse were systematically ignored and the reporters harangued into silence until they all grouped together. Rabbi Stolper, who is married to my aunt, came to me about false information in his Wikipedia entry related to allegations toward Rabbi Lanner. Rabbi Stolper said he never made the statement defending Rabbi Lanner that was attributed to him. Furthermore, having read the cited article, I believe the cited quotation seems to have been taken out of context. I have removed the statement in accordance with the Wikipedia policy on poorly sourced potentially libelous information about living persons.
