Proposed merge of COVID-19 testing controversy in the Philippines into Philippine government response to the COVID-19 pandemic[edit]

This should be summarised at and merged with Philippine government response to the COVID-19 pandemic since the controversy didn't age well: this happened for a very short time and the Philippines has managed to maximise its testing capability. Weak keep as a subpage of the proposed other page, because I feel the specific epidemiological response of the government matters in itself. I only agree with a merge if we have some assurance none of the details will be lost.-Chieharumachi (talk) 10:04, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Merge as proposed to also fill the missing details in the main article, such as the triage procedures and initial developments, etc. Currently, the main article only discusses swabbing centers and incomplete data in two very short paragraphs. There is more than enough room to accomodate the entire article in both the mass testing and controversies sections of the main article.--RioHondo (talk) 09:12, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Merge the testing controversy would fit under this page's section on controversies and criticisms. I will echo Chieharumachi's and RioHondo's points though, important details from the COVID-19 testing controversy in the Philippines page should be merged into the mass testing section.
