Career[edit]

1994- 2012

Nagmeldin Bol was born in Khartoum, Sudan in 1994 where with family he relocated to Egypt in 2000. Nagmeldin spent 4 years in Egypt before the family relocated to Queensland, Australia in 2004 when he was 10 years of age. Nagmeldin completed his primary studies in Queensland Toowoomba where he fell in love with multiple sports and involved mainly football. In 2008 the family relocated to Perth, Western Australia where Nagmeldin attended St Norbert College, in Perth's southern suburb of Queens Park. Nagmeldin received a basketball scholarship and several basketball awards at St Norbert College. While playing basketball Nagmeldin participated in athletics carnivals and mainly excelled in Cross Country winning the schools first medal at the ACC Cross Country championships in Western Australia. The cross country results would later catch the eyes of his teacher who recommended he'd join an athletic team and pursue running. Nagmeldin continued to play basketball until 2010 where he joined West Track Athletics Club coached by Bernie Catley he would compete in several events ranging from 100m to 1500m. Nagmeldin graduated from St Norbert College in 2012 as a college captain and two years within commencing Athletics he'd won 3 state championships in the 400m, 800m and 1500m.

2013 - 2015

Nagmeldin attended Curtin University and is part of the Elite Curtin Program where he studies a bachelor of Construction Management and Economics

2016:

Nagmeldin relocated to Melbourne, Australia in December of 2015 to be coached by Justin Rinaldi, who coaches the current Australia Record Holder Alex Rowe
