Warning at the Top of the Page[edit]

I agree that the introduction was originally written as something too close to an advertisement. I have fixed that fact. Can we remove the warning that states that this article sounds like an advertisement? CaptainNicodemus (talk) 02:10, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"It is known, however that the first Pennell to settle the area was Thomas Pennell III. [snip] Thomas then had a son, Thomas II." Typically, Thomas III's son Thomas would be a IV, not a II. Is this a typo or a fact? Kathy A. 17:23, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the pronunciation key for Pennellville to include an extra "l," as that is how the name of the area is pronounced. It is pronounced "Pen-nil-vil," not "Pen-i-vil" the way it was originally typed. CaptainNicodemus (talk) 01:29, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
