The image Image:Kallangracialriot.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Maintenance tags[edit]

I've added a number of maintenance tags, because I think the article needs updating. The biggest issue I think is that it essentially copies sections of the Penal Code, without explanation. There's a rather unique problem here - one can't really explain the provisions without ending up giving legal advice, and one can't faithfully replicate legal advice by other people without falling into copyright violation. What's left, I think, is to describe the Penal Code and place it in context, which can include describing the legal resources it is typically read with: legal advice, textbooks, judgments, sentencing guidelines, etc. Separately, it has a number of other minor problems like dated photographs (two pixelated photographs of a beer mug to illustrate "intoxication" and of a bicycle wheel to reflect "bike theft") and lists. I'll put this on my to-do-list, but this is for anyone who gets there before me, or is interested in cleaning it up. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 09:04, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
