2018 "suicide" attempt?[edit]

The source for Novo allegedly attempting suicide in 2018 is from L'Équipe, a French source, linking to a report in Marca in Spain. The Marca report says nothing about suicide, just unclear circumstances: "Se desconocen por el momento las circunstancias de lo ocurrido". It is possible an earlier edition said suicide attempt, which was redacted.

It is possibly damaging to the family of the recently deceased to say that he may have attempted suicide, when the source is foreign, based on local news that didn't even say he attempted suicide. This alleged information may also cause prejudice in people's minds, considering he has died by being hit by a train, which could be suicide or not. 84.69.107.20 (talk) 17:23, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Albacete's vice president said after the event that according to witnesses, Novo was on the telephone while leaning on a star rail, and fell inside the hotel by total accident. I don't know why you are giving it so much thought. The article explains what some media considered at the time, it does'nt confirm that he attempted suicide. _-_Alsor (talk) 15:07, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
