I removed the sections stating the Florida's PBA was not a union and that the PBA would be disbanded if any strike in Florida was organized.

First, the PBA is indeed a union as they are the sole bargaining entity and employee representation entity for many counties in Florida (note I said "many", not "all").

Second, the prohibition for public employees to strike in Florida is set forth in the State Constitution/Statutes, and is required to pay a fine if it violates this Statute. It says nothing about disbanding, but does state that if an organization was in support of the strike, it loses its certification for a period of one year after the final fine amount is paid (Florida State Statute 407.507).

Notability[edit]

While the article has a link to one WP article for the largest PBA in the country, it has nothing to do with any national organization. In fact, it is very loose in its' description of what a PBA is ("Patrolman" or "Police"?). As the article does not describe what the Proper name is for a national organization, then it should be deleted or be transferred to the Wikitionary. – S.
