Untitled[edit]

There's another Patricia McCormick: she writes young adult fiction, including the immensely popular YA novel Cut, and the newer book Sold. She should probably have her own entry, or a "not to be confused with..." on the diver's page.

This article needs a major cleanup, unfortunately i am relatively new to Wikipedia and do not know how to go about this. I also fear i may have added too many templates, but i feel that all of them are relevant

I agree with suggestion to merge Patricia with Pat; at very least, do away with title of "Pat" - easily confuses readers....suggests that the subject could be a male. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chuckjav (talkcontribs) 13:00, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I cleaned up the cleanup tags overkill, plus I also did some minor wikification, some copy-editing and NPOVing. The article still needs major work. There was a huge Summary section at the bottom that had a great deal of duplication of the material above it. I hid that section away behind HTML comment tags. The duplcations and the fluff need to be deleted, and then any remaining info needs to be integrated into the sections above it. BlankVerse 09:01, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not the only mother-daughter Olympic medal winners[edit]

I've amended a mis-statement on this page as I know of one other example: Violet Webb and her daughter Janet Simpson won Olympic medals for Britain in 1932 and 1964 respectively. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mothrider (talkcontribs) 14:18, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
