Is this really remotely true?
Most RCs I have listened to regard the church as having precedence over the Bible in matters of authority (people were martyred before the Bible was written and the Church chose what to put in the Bible).
Claiming Papal authority on the Bible seems to me to be unlikely; wrong way round. I also think the article is probably a bit of a non-subject and thus a candidate for deletion? --BozMo talk 21:41, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
Redirect[edit]
This page has been redirected to Primacy of the Roman Pontiff as it is very much the same thing as Papal Authority. Dunfermline Scholar (talk) 03:08, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
