She is born on May 13, as Italian Wikipedia tells. --Apekribo (talk) 14:22, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The citation on Italian WP (http://vittoriozincone.it/2010/10/14/paola-antonelli-sette-ottobre-2010/) does not confirm birth date. Cheers Cl3phact0 (talk) 17:53, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bare URLs[edit]

Please review improvements to urls. "Bare URLs" tag may now be unnecessary. Cheers Cl3phact0 (talk) 17:57, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that bare URL problem has been resolved. I'm going to remove tag. (Please do check that I've not missed anything.) -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 12:11, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
 Done

ce WP:GOCE[edit]

I'm giving this article a bit of much needed attention. Please bear with me and do check that I haven't inadvertently deleted any salient bits. I'm simply trying to tidy-up the language and flow, not change the content. Cheers, Cl3phact0 (talk) 17:39, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Basic Copyediting looks fine[edit]

I am not sure this needs the basic copyediting template - the text reads fine to me, except possibly the rather subjective 'Design Philosophy' section Xcia0069 (talk) 07:50, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Xcia0069, thank you for your note. I have substantially edited much of the article, rearranged the content and sections for flow, cleaned-up the bare URLs, and am in the process of reviewing the "External links" section. I think it's better than it was, but still needs more fine-tuning. I wholly agree that the "Design philosophy" section needs to be improved (or removed) – I have been pondering what should be done with it. Any help you are able to give would be much appreciated. Also, feel free to rm the {{Copy edit|date=March 2023}} tag from the article if you think it's now in good-enough shape! (Please do leave the GOCE tag here on the Talk page, as I am still actively working on the article.) Cheers, Cl3phact0 (talk) 08:30, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Re: "External links", there is a lot of interesting material here, however, I propose that some of it would be better as supporting references to the text (perhaps by expanding the "Work and career" or "Publications" section to include Antonelli's public speaking, etc.) rather than in what seems like a somewhat jumbled link farm. -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 08:38, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Xcia0069. Removing ce tag per above and comments on User Talk. -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 14:51, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done [NB: "Design Philosophy" section still in need of attention.] -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 14:53, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Re: "Design philosophy" (per above)[edit]

@Xcia0069: As the section as written needed improvement, and the ce tag has been removed, I am moving the section here for evaluation and discussion. I've also integrated the core ideas and supporting quotes (sans-subjective language) into the "Work and career" section (as well as an additional ref). This seems like a good interim solution. Please improve (or reinstate the original if not in agreement):

== Design Philosophy == Paola Antonelli's objective is to change the perception of design, making sure that people are aware of the importance of design in everyday life. She believes that design is an incredible expression of human creativity and that designers should feel a responsibility towards the users they create for. Without design, innovation would be futile, because no one would be able to use any new inventions. She is frustrated by the misconception that design is just styling and feels that it is her job to help people realize that it is so much more.[1]

It's good enough for Wikipedia :) If you wanted to make it perfect, I would add in more than one citation (if you can find that) and stress that these comments come from from an interview. For example
Paola Antonelli's objective is to change the perception of design, making sure that people are aware of the importance of design in everyday life. In an interview from 2021, she expressed the belief that design is an incredible expression of human creativity and that designers should feel a responsibility towards the users they create for. Without design, innovation would be futile, because no one would be able to use any new inventions. She is frustrated by the misconception that design is just styling; she feels that it is her job to help people realize that it is so much more. Xcia0069 (talk) 09:11, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Xcia0069: As "perfect" can get one into mythic-scale trouble with the Gods, just shy of that would be fine by me. I'll circle back to this at the weekend. Appreciate your help! -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 20:47, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
