Picture of the plane with burned engines[edit]

Is anyone able to contact the author of this picture from here (Hamza Omer from Pakistan Plane Spotters) asking if it can be uploaded on commons? I never did it and I don't even know how to do it.--Paolo9999 (talk) 14:25, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Aviation safety YouTuber Blancolirio has done an extensive video on this incident[edit]

Aviation safety expert and YouTuber Blancorilio (himself a Boeing 777 captain) has done a video analyzing the final report on this incident. There were many problems with crew resource management, distractions (crew are not supposed to discuss anything non-essential to the operation of the aircraft when below 10,000 feet) and other issues. Anyone who is interested in this incident should watch this video Pakistan International Airlines 8303 Shocking Final Report. rogerd (talk) 23:13, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Insanity in the Air: The crash of Pakistan International Airlines flight 8303[edit]

Admiral Cloudberg's admirable writeup sheds light on many factors currently not mentioned by the article, including the captain's psychological profile, his history of violations standard of protocol, the Ramadan fast, PIA's systematic negligence in reviewing flight records, etc etc. Unfortunately we would need to find non-blog sources for there.
