Joshua or Josiah[edit]

Hi.I don't know how to get in touch any other way but I'd like to let you know the Paddy Sloan's first name was Joshua not Josiah. I am his grandson and I have no idea where you got the name Josiah from but please do not insist that it is correct.

I can only go by the sources. If you check at bottom of his page, you will see that two of these give his name as Josiah but I guess if you are his grandson you would know. Sorry for delay in responding but you left message at wrong place. Djln--Djln (talk) 19:24, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is irrelevant whether you are his grandson, his mother or his pet dog. We can only go by published sources, and most published sources state that Paddy Sloan's birth name was Josiah. – Pee Jay 00:58, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
