Untitled[edit]

My source for including "The Hummingbird" and "Skippy Bedelle" in the list of "Lawrenceville Stories" are the books themselves. These are just lesser known parts of the canon.

  • Oh, sure. I don't know "The Hummingbird" but I can personally vouch that "Skippy Bedelle" is. Feel free to add them in the top part of the article, too—I don't think anyone is likely to challenge it. Dpbsmith (talk) 17:14, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Skippy occurs at Lawrencevill but is not within the widely published compendium call the TLS. TCO (talk) 12:40, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1992?[edit]

I am pretty sure the PBS series the Prodigious Hickey was well before 1992, infact IMDB and other sources have it as 1987, which corresponds to my memories. Usekh 14:29, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Movie[edit]

I believe the movie The Happy Years was based on his stories.Itsmeiam 12:33, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

I believe that I will be able to obtain references regarding Owen Johnson at The Yale Club of NYC (Class Book and Class Reunions). It will take some time to add the references but I will add whatever I find. Nicodemus (talk) 17:20, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
