Both the infobox and the article itself almost completely (or completely, in the case of the former) ignore what was, at the time, the most important part of the crisis to Europeans - France's support for Muhammad Ali and the resulting threat of a European general war. This article makes it rather difficult to understand, for instance, why a song about defending the Rhine was written as a response to this crisis. john k (talk) 04:14, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
