Update[edit]

@Another Believer: as you are likely already aware, an IP tagged this article GAR in September due to poor references.[1] Today, after reviewing the article, I removed the tag. One very minor concern I have is with replacing the dead source for reference two: "Lutz, Dick. Salem Public Library. Salem Public Library. Retrieved on September 14, 2008." It is used eleven times in the article as a source.

In an attempt to do so, I first filed a 404 report online with the city. It's a web form that alerts them of a broken link and redirect. Then, I searched Internet Archive to see if I could salvage anything. AFAICT, all are HTTP 302. I'm curious, do you think you could replace this dead link with a source used in the article on Salem Public Library (Oregon)? I also wonder why the City of Salem removed the page from their site when they have history pages for other departments like Fire. Viriditas (talk) 23:09, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
