Version 1.0[edit]

Where can I download the 1.0 shareware version of the game?--67.10.200.101 19:55, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OMFTRANS[edit]

Where can I get OMFTRANS.EXE, a program wherein I can edit the data in CHR files so I can cheat?--Luke Elms 22:39, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pyros in the shareware version[edit]

Somehow or other, I managed to get Pyros to become a playable character in story mode in the shareware version of OMF 2097. I don't know how I did it, but I did it. Did you accidentally make Pyros playable in story mode in the shareware version of OMF 2097? Please reply to my message.--Luke Elms 02:10, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's a code to play Nova in story mode too (check GameFAQs); it might unlock Pyros on the shareware version. JuJube 02:27, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I tried it, but all I got was a message that read, "Sorry, this robot is available only in the full version of the game. See Ordering Info in the Main Menu. Press any key to continue." What's more, the picture of Pyros was still red. What am I to do?--Luke Elms 02:35, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I dunno :( JuJube 02:42, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Try changing the Pyro's file for some other bot? the full game is free nowadays anyways. Deep_Alexander it can be used in the tournament so it could be that the nova code unlocks it but that you did something wrong. i have played the full version but never got that code working. the game is not freeware.84.213.46.153 (talk) 16:25, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

OMF 2097: Other Versions[edit]

I need to know where I can get OMF 2097 versions 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0. Please reply to my message.--Luke Elms 00:06, 14 February 2007 (UTC) only way to get that these daus is through piracy which is illegal and as such i can not recommend it.84.213.46.153 (talk) 16:27, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tracker used to produce music[edit]

I added "citation needed" for One Must Fall 2097 music because there is no evidence that the artist used Scream Tracker to produce the game's music, even if he used for his personal portfolio or music/demo group. The music is in a format that had to be otherwise converted, .PSM, which Scream Tracker doesn't support.

From the Ordering Information screen in the full version "Composer Kenny Chou created OMF's sound track in Future Crew's Scream Tracker 3.0." Not sure how you'd cite that, but there it is. --Thunderbird8 (talk) 13:55, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discovered a new remake of OMF2097[edit]

Unlike all the other remakes that I've seen in the past, this one looks very promising.

From the videos, you can see basic combat and network play are both working.

this game is not freeware[edit]

i checked the source and that does not even mention the game. as such that source should be removed and the game should not be listed as freeware.84.213.46.153 (talk) 16:31, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just because the source has changed its wording (which is the nature of the internet), doesn't mean that the game is suddenly not freeware anymore. There are still other sources that list it as such, and it is. https://archive.org/details/OneMustFall2097 TheWizardOfAhz (talk) 17:52, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
