The Times

The "First Cuckoo" is a somewhat light-hearted competition in The Times' letters pages, where correspondents claim to have heard the first cuckoo in spring.^[1] The Times also have published several books^[2] of notable letters of the twentieth century, entitled "The First Cuckoo".

Move?[edit]

Listening to these 2 pieces, adjacent on Mackerras/OWNO 2CD, and I see via Google that there are many other discs where they are reunited, as it were. Since "Summer Night on the River" seems unlikely to get its own article, perhaps we should rename this one, with a redirect - I have already, perhaps too hastily, italicised the Two Pieces mention.
