Jurisdiction of 1911 Act[edit]

Since this was enacted in 1911 and superseded in 1920, shouldn't the act's area of applicability include all of Ireland, not just Northern Ireland? 209.195.164.34 22:07, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pig's Bay, Essex for a guess, as per the Shoeburyness article. Why? --Red King 20:43, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect "Official Secrets Act (United Kingdom)"[edit]

Update: Some time ago this page was briefly moved to [[Official Secrets Act (United Kingdom)]] and then moved back agin. That page is now a redirect to this article. The links which were pointing at that page have now been expunged with the exception of one link on a user subpage.James500 (talk) 12:41, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Signing[edit]

The article discusses "signing" the OSA. I was under the impression that this was a bit of a popular misunderstanding and that what one actually does is to sign a document confirming that one's "attention has been drawn to" the Act. If this is the case we should clarify this rather than perpetuating what's almost an urban myth. – Kieran T (talk) 16:29, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
