About name in Thai language[edit]

We must to remove name in Thai, because this Province is belonged to Cambodia province. Like you see no Thai peoples live there permanently.(Nisetpdajsankha (talk) 08:54, 1 March 2014 (UTC))[reply]

The Thai name is historically relevant since the area was part of Siam for over a century in recent history and the Thai name appears in source material from that era.--William Thweatt TalkContribs 11:20, 1 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway, in some Thai provinces, I have put some Khmer name of the former Khmer province, It also disagree by some people, It's not justice with Khmer, and this English Wikipedia have tend to Thai. So, administers must reconsider again because of what no Thai people live in the territory and you can to discuss with Khmer Wikipedia administers ([Vantharith]). From me a voluntary Khmer Wikipedian (Nisetpdajsankha (talk) 16:19, 2 December 2014 (UTC))[reply]

Wrong shape in province map?[edit]

The shape of the province presented here does not seem to be the actual one. Google shows the southern border differently, so does Microsoft, the 2018-map I have from Reise-Know-How as well as Wikimedia Commons. These maps' border follow the Sren River (Stung Sren) further north. The position maps [1] and [2] on the contrary indicate the border even more south in a straight East-West line. I guess there were different projects when the province was carved from the northern half of Siem Reap and part of Banteay Meanchey in 1999 or there was a correction of the border since in favour of the Siem Reap province but I cannot find any sources for it. Does anybody know more about it? --Peteremueller (talk) 23:28, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
