I have removed the following from the notable list until they can be proven to be notable per Wikipedia standards:

  • James Hay Jr., the author of “The Honor Men”
  • J. H. C. Bagby, the founder of Corks and Curls
  • Thomas Longstreet Wood, Editor of "Virginia University Magazine" and "Arcade Echoes"
  • Edward A. Craighill, the author of The Good Old Song
  • Evan Behrle, Rhodes Scholar

Name of group[edit]

The yearbook entries in the early 20th century all call this the O.W.L. Club or O.W.L. Was it called the O.W.L. Society prior to its reformation? Rublamb (talk) 01:18, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

...And did the initials ever stand for something? Or were the periods between the letters simply an affectation?
