"New Gorizia"[edit]

since the town gorizia was named in slovenian 1st then the name translated into italian (gorica means "little peak") it is incorrect to say nova gorica is a translation of an italian name. i propose the italian name (which escapes me right now) is used as an alternative labeled as italian:(insert name) instead of claiming the correct english term is, in fact, italian! the english would, in fact, be "nova gorica." You are absolutely right. I'll change it accordingly. Besides, Italians don't use the term "Nuova Gorizia", they say "Nova Gorica" (usually with the wrong stress, that is on the first instead of the second syllable). Best, Viator slovenicus (talk) 22:36, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Coordinates[edit]

The coordinates appear to be inaccurate. These coordinates appear to be in neighboring Solkan. Note the location of the purple pin on Google Map: http://goo.gl/maps/3hmEZ.Desertpapa (talk) 18:31, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing this out. I have corrected the coordinates. Doremo (talk) 20:23, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
