I have failed this nomination mainly because the article does not have enough references to be a GA, especially as the demographics section has no references but lots of fatcs, see WP:WIAGA for guidance. The article does not seem to be broad in its coverage, for example it does not contain a history section. In terms of written quality it seems ok however there is no real flow. There are still not enough references, so as a fellow WikiProject Miami editor, I am going to keep you from wasting other editors time and fail this one again. The previous mayor, Josaphat Celestin, is of Haitian descent. (The current mayor does not have a Haitian name.) Haitians and persons of Haitian descent in the U.S. are generally included in the category 'black', or 'African-American'. -- Donald Albury 16:59, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
