She is one of the oldest, and most famous transsexuals in Canada. She is a role model a large portion of transgender/transsexual youth in Canada. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.206.23.129 (talk) 09:21, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If she hasn't undergone a sex change that would make her transgendered. A transsexual has specifically had an operation.

I don't believe that the surgical/medical steps toward ones chosen gender must necessarily be on ones genitals; Many transsexuals never alther their genetalia but undergo surgeries and hormone treatments to reform secondary sexual characteristics. Kurtto 18:01, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
On a side note here, many countries including Britain now no longer require the actual sex reassignment surgery for a legal change of gender. --Kiranna 20:48, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I really have a hard time believing that this individual meets the standards to be included in Wikipedia. If smaller market television anchors are not considered to be important enough for them to have an entry, it is difficult to see what this person has done to warrent inclusion.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.245.50.235 (talkcontribs) 01:34, July 17, 2007 (UTC)
