Photograph incorrectly labeled[edit]

The cover photograph may be the on the first edition of the publisher currently holding rights, but it certainly isn't a first edition of the first publication. 171.64.43.105 (talk) 03:26, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The label has been corrected. I would purchase and upload a 1st edition scan, but they are all ungodly expensive.Npd2983 (talk) 17:57, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Switching from 'gay literature' to 'lesbian literature' genre?[edit]

I think it would be wise to refer to Nightwood as a work of 'lesbian literature' rather than of 'gay literature' -- for the sake of specificity, and because the page for 'gay literature' indicates that works of that genre are generally about male homosexuality. The Times Literary Supplement referred to Nightwood as a "classic of modernist and lesbian literature."[1] --Cixxxous (talk) 04:42, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

the plot summaries are *very* long[edit]

The plot summary sections are so long as to potentially interfere with the value of a) this page b) reading the novel. Are there Wikipedia standards that would justify pruning them down a bit? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wooverine (talkcontribs) 20:21, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wooverine Ideally, they'd be shorter, but the nature of the book makes a shorter summation practically impossible. I tried my best here, and am happy to hear feedback. Iseult Δx parlez moi 03:02, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
