I like that you have followed the trend back to Scottish Gaelic in recent history and given Niall mac Cailein the name he was known by in his own culture, and one that reveals to all exactly who he was. (Sheena Elliot (talk) 16:14, 21 February 2013 (UTC))[reply]

PS: I wandered past because I am preparing something on Niall's sister-in-law Christian, and earlier today I saw reference to what was probably the original source of Stephen Boardman's info on Master Niall in Calender of Docs Relating to Scotland V.II ed. Joseph Bain if you wanted to show primary sources. Also may be worth checking if Master Niall was alumni of Cambridge like Alexander de Brus who was at Peterhouse about 1300, and I believe Hugh son of Euphemia and William, 3rd earl of Ross, was Cambridge scholar in 1306. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sheena Elliot (talk • contribs) 16:46, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
